About
Dr Jinsha Zhao is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the ΞΆΓάΘ¦ Business School.
His research interests lie primarily in the fields of executive compensation, pension tax, financial derivatives, and cryptocurrencies. He currently works on a variety of topics including the implications of compensation regulations, the association between financial crises and Bitcoin. In 2022, he secured a grant from British Academy and Leverhulme Trust for project titled "Technology evolution and the pay gap between top managers and employees", worth Β£6,609.
He received his PhD in Accounting and Finance from Lancaster University. He also holds an MSc in Finance from Lancaster University, and a BSc in Accounting and Finance from University of Bradford.
